Gabby Logan
Gabby Logan is one of Britain's leading sports commentators and a former international gymnast.
Best-known today for her regular appearances on BBC's Match of the Day – where she was the first woman to host the show – and Radio 5 Live, Gabby was herself a successful athlete winning a bronze medal in the 1990 British Championships. She began her broadcasting career in 1992 for radio and joined Sky Sports as a television presenter in 1996.
She quickly established herself as a football presenter, joining ITV in 1998 to front On The Ball. In her nine years at ITV, Gabby's repertoire of sports expanded and her presenting credits include the World Cup, Champions League and the Premiership, as well as the Boat Race and sports news reporting. She has also written about sport extensively in the press and currently has a column in The Times.
Gabby joined the BBC in 2007 and in addition to her own shows, she is currently a key member of the TV team for the Six Nations rugby 2008 and recently starred in BBC 1's Strictly Come Dancing.
Playing tennis and running half marathons are two of her favourite hobbies and she has a keen interest in travelling, yoga and complementary health issues. In addition to her busy professional life, Gabby supports a number of charities and is an Ambassador for The Prince's Trust and a Patron for NSPCC.
She is much in demand for award ceremonies and motivational speaking and lives in London with her husband Kenny and their twins.
