CLAIRE LANE

I am a BASES Accredited Applied Physiologist and have been working in the TEAMBath Human Performance Centre at the University of Bath since the summer of 2005. We deliver a range of assessments geared towards assisting any individual, athlete or amateur sports person, in training appropriately for their sport and performing to their personal best.

I also lead on the nutritional support aspect of the Human Performance Centre, working with athletes to ensure their diet is appropriate to their needs whilst also working towards specific strategies to optimise performance and recovery. I am studying for the IOC Postgraduate Diploma in Sports Nutrition, due for completion in October 2008 hopefully followed by graduation in April 2009.

In my spare time, I am a keen amateur runner and have completed Bath Half Marathon twice - not bad for a former sprinter!! I also love being outside, hiking and cycling anywhere with fantastic scenery (and weather!).
